Mark Gendle currently serves as President and Publisher of the Triad Business Journal, where he leads all revenue and editorial operations. Gendle joined American City Business Journals (ACBJ) in 2010 as a Sales Development Manager in Charlotte and focused initially on supporting ACBJ's national sales team. He later transitioned to include working with local markets. He was promoted in 2020 to Sales Development Director, where he worked with many of ACBJ's most sophisticated advertising clients and helped roll out new revenue initiatives across the company. Prior to joining ACBJ, Gendle worked in various sports marketing roles at Raycom Sports and Roush Fenway Racing.
Gendle currently is part of the American Heart Association executive leadership committee and High Point University’s Board of Visitors. In addition to joining Junior Achievement, he is also joining the board of NCCJ. Gendle is a 1999 Eagle Scout – Boy Scouts of America and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in 2004.
Gendle currently resides in Greensboro, NC with his wife Jenn and son Xander.
