Volunteers are the heart and soul of Junior Achievement of the Triad’s impactful programs, playing a crucial role in making the organization’s mission a reality. Volunteers from various professional backgrounds bring real-world insights and experiences into the classroom, making lessons more relevant and meaningful for the students.
The impact of volunteers goes beyond the classroom. By sharing their personal and professional journeys, volunteers help students connect the dots between academic learning and real-world success. Exposure to different career paths and life experiences broadens students’ horizons, instilling in them a sense of possibility and ambition for their own futures.
Volunteering with Junior Achievement offers a chance to inspire and empower local students, helping them achieve economic success and build a brighter future! It is also a deeply rewarding experience that allows you to make a significant impact in our community.
We are always seeking volunteers for three of our programs:

Join us for our upcoming “JA In A Day” programs, where you’ll help teach students essential financial literacy and work readiness skills that foster economic success through fun and engaging activities. These activities typically run from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. JA ensures you are well-prepared with a virtual training session before your day of volunteerism.

Personal Finance Classes:
Join us as we takeover personal finance classes in local high schools, equipping students with crucial financial literacy and work readiness skills through realistic, exploratory learning activities, like budgeting, debt risk, identity protection, saving and investing. Personal Finance typically meets in 45 minute sessions over a five week period. JA will make sure you are prepared with a virtual training before your day of volunteerism.
Overall, volunteering with JA is a highly rewarding experience that allows you to leave a lasting impact on students' lives. If you're passionate about making a difference and want to inspire the next generation, we would love to have you join our team of dedicated volunteers.
