Jacquelyn Clark Johnson, SHRM-SCP, Certified Professional Coach (CPP) 

Jacquelyn Clark Johnson is the Vice President of People & Culture for Volvo Financial Services( VFS) North America . She is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies across VFS North America including the US, Canada and Mexico markets. VFS is the global finance arm of the Volvo Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction equipment, and marine and industrial engines. A global organization operating in more than 40 countries, it is focused exclusively on providing financial services, including financing, leasing and insurance solutions, to the Volvo Group's internal and external customers. Johnson is a strategic business partner and catalyst for innovative initiatives that address today's business challenges of attaining revenue goals, controlling expenses, increasing employee engagement and attracting/retaining talent while achieving business and profitability objectives. 

Johnson graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a master's degree in human resources and from Bennett College with an undergraduate degree in accounting. She also holds a certificate as a Senior Human Resources professional (SHRM-SCP). In 2022, 

Jacquelyn is a certified leadership and career coach through the iPEC organization and was named as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in North Carolina by Women we admire magazine https://thewomenweadmire.com/leaders/jacquelyn-johnson/.She is also the executive director and founder of Beauty 4 Ashes International, a 501©3 nonprofit organization and a member of the Beta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc . 

Meredith Spralding, Lincoln Financial Group 

Meredith Spradling currently serves as an Operations Manager in Underwriting & New Business at Lincoln Financial Group where she has worked for over 15 years. Prior to Lincoln she worked in corporate relations at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC.  

She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and has her Series 6 and 63 Designations, as well as her North Carolina License for Life, Accident and Health. Meredith resides in Greensboro, NC with her husband, Carter, and two children, Jackson, and Hudson. She enjoys traveling and attending concerts 

Alesia Hilton, Greater Winston-Salem Inc. 

Alesia Hilton, Director of Career Readiness with Greater Winston-Salem Inc. manages the planning and implementation of an expanded strategic partnership with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools featuring a new internship program and Career Readiness Plan designed to enhance student success and business community involvement in talent and workforce development. 

Hilton has extensive experience as an educator and educational leader, serving as a principal, assistant principal, case manager, and special education teacher throughout her career with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools 

Alesia Hilton has a Master of School Administration in Educational Leadership from NC A&T University, a Master of Special Education from Appalachian State University, and a BS in Special Education from Winston-Salem State University.  She has served on the board of the YMCA of Northwest NC contributing to various after school programs.  She serves as a volunteer supporting food and clothing drives through her church and with the Wells Center, promoting a reading initiative for formerly incarcerated women to help them achieve their GEDs. 

Dr. Irish Spencer, President/ CEO Spencer Group, Inc. Greensboro, NC. 

Dr. Spencer is a performance-oriented professional with a comprehensive record of success developing and identifying corporate, foundation and public prospects. Cultivating relationships, developing funding proposals, soliciting, and following up in securing philanthropic support. She has a sound record of managing portfolios and facilitating collaborations among stakeholders. Demonstrating the capacity to create long-term relationships that sustains awareness, stewardship, and financial support.   

Perhaps surprisingly, much of Dr. Spencer’s 30 plus-year career has been spent with industries as diverse as consulting, broadcast management, education, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit management. The common thread is an ability not only to drive sales, but to help others be more successful. As a President, CEO, Assistant Vice Chancellor Corporate Foundation Relations, and General Manager with a particular focus on sales, performance improvement and executive leadership, Dr. Spencer has managed a wide range of companies and expanded their national and international footprint.  

On May 1, 2015, her hard work and determination to “Help the Least of These,” was recognized by President Barak Obama during a White House ceremony where she was presented with the national “Champion of Change” award. Dr. Spencer is a member of several boards, committees, and commissions locally, regionally, and nationally. “My heart is most happy when I am helping and engaging others.”  

Dr. Spencer is also the president of FASK(Families Against Senseless Killings), founded after the murder of her son. She is very engaged with her local law enforcement agencies to stop gun violence and help families maneuver the processes after loosing a child to gun violence.  She has received the Chief of Police Citizen of the Year Award.  

Dr. Spencer received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University, master’s from Tiffin University and doctorate from Colorado Tech University. She and her husband William M. Spencer Jr., retired USMC,  live in Greensboro, NC and have two children. 

 

About Junior Achievement of the Triad 

Junior Achievement of the Triad, founded in 1965, serves approximately 16,000 students each year in Alamance, Guilford, Forsyth, Randolph, and Rockingham counties. JA works in the classroom through partnerships with teachers and volunteers to deliver age-appropriate programs for students in grades K-12.
