The 2026 Business Leaders Hall of Fame was an unforgettable evening as we came together to celebrate this year’s remarkable Laureates and advance Junior Achievement’s mission across the Triad.

This year, Dr. Connie Book, Mae Douglas, and Todd Hall were honored for their visionary leadership, deep commitment to strengthening our region, and dedication to expanding opportunity for others. Through transformative leadership in higher education, financial empowerment, business innovation, and community service, each Laureate has made a lasting impact on the Triad. Their stories reflected resilience, service, and a deep belief in investing in people, values that align powerfully with JA’s mission.
From moving Laureate tributes to powerful moments that brought JA’s impact to life, the evening was both a celebration and a reflection of what is possible when a community comes together. One of the most meaningful highlights of the night was the incredible student engagement. We were especially proud to see JA students from Dudley High School and Bluford STEM Academy play such an active role in welcoming guests, supporting the program, and representing the future we are all working toward.

As our premier annual fundraiser, the Hall of Fame continues to be a powerful demonstration of generosity across the Triad. Thanks to our generous guests, sponsors, and supporters, we saw a record level of in-room giving this year. That momentum allows us to continue and expand our impact, reaching thousands of students with financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness programs that prepare them for a lifetime of success.
The evening also marked an exciting moment for our organization, as we shared a look at what’s next for Junior Achievement of the Triad. We invite you to continue the momentum and learn more about this next chapter by checking out our next blog featuring JA Finance Park Mobile.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this night possible. Your partnership continues to move our mission forward and create meaningful opportunities for the students we serve.
